Watch: Khartoum sees first flight arrival since the war began
Khartoum International Airport received a flight from Port Sudan carrying 160 passengers, marking the first domestic flight to arrive at the airport since the outbreak of the war in Sudan.

Aviation circles in Sudan are anticipating the return of 18 foreign airlines to Khartoum Airport in the near future, a move expected to bring a major shift to the country’s air traffic after years of restriction to a limited number of carriers since the war began in 2023, according to Sudanese media.

The anticipated return of these foreign airlines is expected to expand travel options for citizens and enhance competition in Sudan’s aviation sector.
