Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met with Jaafar Hassan, Prime Minister of the Jordan, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai.
During the meeting, the Jordanian side proposed an initiative to hold a trilateral Syrian–Lebanese–Jordanian meeting in Amman dedicated to energy and electricity issues. Prime Minister Salam welcomed the proposal.
The two sides also agreed to organize a conference bringing together Jordanian and Lebanese business leaders in April, aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
Regional developments were also discussed in the course of the meeting.
