French news outlet France Info reported that six people were injured after a hand grenade was thrown inside a beauty salon in the city of Grenoble, southeastern France.

The newspaper explained that the injuries were caused by the explosion of a beauty salon window. According to the public prosecutor, the grenade was not intended to kill but to intimidate.

The report added that among the injured was a five-year-old child. Citing the prosecutor, it stated that two individuals entered the salon, with one throwing an explosive device that did not contain a large charge or metal shrapnel, while the other recorded the scene. The incident was described as an act of intimidation.
