Israeli Army spokesperson Avichay Adraee wrote on X: “In a nighttime operation in the Mount Dov (Har Dov) area in southern Lebanon, the 210th Brigade forces arrested a senior terrorist operative from the Islamic Group.”

He added: “Based on intelligence gathered over recent weeks, Israeli forces raided a building in the Mount Dov (Har Dov) area overnight and arrested a senior member of the Islamic Group, who was transferred to Israel for interrogation. Weapons were also found inside the building.”

Adraee continued: “The Islamic Group has carried out terrorist acts against the State of Israel and its citizens on the northern front throughout the war and continues to do so. Israeli forces will continue to act to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel.”
