The French Embassy in Lebanon published the following on its X account: 

France stands alongside Lebanon, and particularly the city of Tripoli, following the collapse of a building in the Bab al-Tabbaneh neighborhood. Ambassador Hervé Magro and all staff at the French Embassy extend their deepest condolences to the families of the victims and express their full solidarity with the rescue teams.
