The Chtaura – Baalbek Customs Unit successfully carried out a series of raids targeting cheese factories and seized several vehicles transporting large quantities of cheese. Samples were taken and sent to specialized laboratories, revealing that a significant portion of the products did not meet the approved standards.

As a result, the non-compliant goods were destroyed according to regulations, and the responsible parties were taken to the Customs Center for legal proceedings under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
