Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received former Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh.

The pair reportedly discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region and the latest political developments.

Speaker Berri also received Telecommunications Minister Charles Hajj, in the presence of Ogero Director General, Ahmad Oueidat.

The discussion addressed the latest developments and updates, in addition to matters related to the country’s telecommunications sector and the ministry’s work programs.

This afternoon, Berri received Australian Ambassador to Lebanon, Andrew Barnes, who came on a farewell visit upon the end of his diplomatic mission in the country.

The visit was also an opportunity to discuss the general situation in Lebanon and the region, and the bilateral ties between the two countries.
