President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received this afternoon a phone call from Cypriot President Nicos Christodoulides, during which they discussed the security and military updates in Lebanon and the region, in light of the current developments.

During the call, the Cypriot President emphasized the deeply rooted friendship between the Lebanese and Cypriot peoples, highlighting the many commonalities between the two countries and their friendly peoples.

President Aoun also received a phone call from Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, during which they discussed the current developments.

Libyan Prime Minister Dbeibeh affirmed his country's support for Lebanon's sovereignty, stability, and the positions of the Lebanese government in this regard.
