Chief of the General Staff of Israel Eyal Zamir said that Hezbollah and the Iranian regime form a single entity, adding that Israel will continue working to collapse the Iranian axis and strike the enemy.

During a tour to assess the situation at the northern command, attended by members of the General Staff Forum, Zamir described the current moment as “a great opportunity,” saying that important work is underway and that Israel is preparing for a long battle, pledging to use all available means to exploit this opportunity and bring about a change in the security situation.

He also ordered the continued strengthening and expansion of the defence system along the border, reviewing the operational picture and stressing the importance of deepening the control line along the border with Lebanon.
