The Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee published the following on X:
“The Israeli Army has attacked rocket launch platforms in Lebanon that were ready to fire toward the State of Israel.
The Israeli Army continue to target rocket launch platforms belonging to Hezbollah that were used to fire projectiles toward Israeli territory.
Yesterday, several rockets were fired toward the settlement of Metula, and after a rapid surveillance and targeting operation, our forces destroyed the platform from which the rockets were launched.
In another incident, forces from the 91st Division detected a Hezbollah member near our forces, and an air force aircraft struck and eliminated the individual within a short time.
In recent days, the Israeli army began implementing the forward defense plan to create an additional protective layer to push threats away from northern residents.
The Israeli Army is operating forcefully against Hezbollah’s decision to join the battle and act under the sponsorship of the Iranian ‘terror regime,’ and will not allow harm to the citizens of the State of Israel.”
