At least 56 of Iran’s cultural sites, including museums and historical monuments, have suffered “serious structural damage” due to US-Israeli strikes since the start of the war, according to the country’s Culture Ministry.
In a statement carried by the ISNA news agency, the ministry also said that the Tehran province tops the list with 19 damaged monuments.
It added that 12 prominent monuments have also been damaged in Iran’s Kurdistan province.
