The Israeli army announced that the Chief of Staff approved plans on Saturday to expand ground operations in Lebanon.
Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said: “The battle against Hezbollah has begun, and the fight against it will be long-term. We are fully prepared for it.”
He added: “When the war in Iran ends, Hezbollah will remain isolated.”
