The Media and Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of Civil Defense issued the following statement:
“Civil Defense teams, in coordination with units of the Lebanese Army providing perimeter security, carried out a rescue operation for a woman in her fifties who had been trapped under the rubble of a two-story residential building in the town of Arnoun Al-Shaqif for approximately 24 hours.
The teams successfully extricated her from the debris, and she was transported to the hospital to receive necessary medical care.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense affirms that its personnel remain fully prepared to respond under all circumstances, working tirelessly to rescue citizens and ensure their safety.”
