Prime Minister Nawaf Salam issued an administrative circular ordering the closure of all official administrations, public institutions, and municipalities in observance of Good Friday and Easter.

All official administrations, public institutions, and municipalities will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, and Monday, April 6, 2026, for Good Friday and Easter for Christian communities following the Western calendar.

Similarly, all official administrations, public institutions, and municipalities will be closed on Friday, April 10, 2026, and Monday, April 13, 2026, for Good Friday and Easter for Christian communities following the Eastern calendar.
