President Joseph Aoun stated that “these barbaric attacks, which recognize no rights and respect no agreements or commitments, have repeatedly shown blatant disregard for all laws and international norms. Over the fifteen months of the ceasefire agreement, we have witnessed numerous violations and breaches carried out without any deterrent.”

He explained that “today, Israel intensifies its aggression once again, committing a new massacre added to its dark record, in blatant defiance of all human values and disregarding all efforts aimed at calm and stability.”

He stressed that “this dangerous escalation places full responsibility on Israel for its consequences, and we emphasize that continuing these aggressive policies will only lead to further tension and instability, at a time when calm and adherence to commitments are most needed.”

He concluded: “We strongly condemn this crime, affirm the necessity for the international community to assume its responsibilities to stop these repeated attacks, and put an end to this aggressive approach that threatens security and stability in the region.”
