Berri broaches developments with UK Minister, receives phone call from Iran's Parliament Speaker
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain el-Tineh, UK Minister for the Middle East and North Africa at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Hamish Falconer, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell, and Speaker Berri’s media advisor Ali Hamdan.

The discussion reportedly focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the current updates in light of Israel's ongoing attacks on Lebanon, and the bilateral ties between the two countries.

The Parliament Speaker later received the Head of the Medical and Social Services Sector at the Lebanese Red Cross, Amina Fawaz, in the presence of the Director of the Medical and Social Services Sector at the Lebanese Red Cross, Hassan Saad.

The delegation briefed Berri on the tasks and programs being carried out by the Lebanese Red Cross and its teams across various Lebanese regions, particularly in the south, as well as the medical and social services it provides in the emergency assistance and displacement dossiers.

On another note, Speaker Berri received a phone call from Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, during which they discussed the latest developments in the region and Lebanon, particularly in the south, where ongoing Israeli aggression is taking place. It was emphasized that "the ceasefire must include Lebanon before anything else."
