Photographers’ Syndicate condemns assault on journalists in Marjayoun
The Photographers’ Syndicate strongly condemned the attack on several journalists in the Marjayoun area, including reporters from MTV, Reuters, LBCI, and AFP, while they were documenting destruction and the return of residents in the town of Debbine.

The syndicate said the journalists were subjected to physical assault, insults, accusations of treason, and the vandalism of their cars, warning against any targeting of media professionals and confirming it will pursue the case.

It added that Information Minister Paul Morcos, Interior Minister Ahmad Hajjar, and Syndicate head Ali Alloush will follow up on the القضية at the highest levels to ensure strict action against those responsible.

Morcos condemned the incident and stressed the need to protect journalists, while Hajjar confirmed that the case is under investigation by army intelligence and the Internal Security Forces.
