أشار الجيش الإسرائيلي في بيان إلى "خط أصفر" موجود في الجنوب، حينما تحدث في بيانه عن ان قواته الموجودة "جنوب الخط الأصفر في جنوب لبنان" رصدت عناصر انتهكت تفاهمات وقف إطلاق النار واقتربت من شمال الخط الأصفر باتجاه القوات، ما استدعى مهاجمتهم.
