The Mayor of Beit Lif has appealed to the three top officials to act to prevent the demolition of homes
The Mayor of Beit Lif, Ezzat Hammoud, appealed to the three top officials Joseph Aoun, Nabih Berri, and Nawaf Salam, as well as Defence Minister Michel Menassa, the Army Command, and all relevant authorities, urging swift action to stop the demolition, bulldozing, and explosions of homes and the destruction of farmland carried out by the Israeli army in Beit Lif, under the pretext of the ceasefire.

He said the army is preventing residents from entering the village to inspect their homes and property, while the ceasefire is being repeatedly violated in several areas.

He called for urgent measures to halt what he described as a “condemned and denounced crime,” adding that it joins Israel’s repeated violations against southern Lebanon and its people, and Lebanon as a whole.
