Machinery of the National Litani River Authority, in coordination with the Lebanese Army, is ongoingly carrying out works in the Tayr Felsay area, as part of ongoing efforts to reconnect both banks of the river and ensure the movement of citizens across.
The ongoing works include the completion of temporary structures and the installation of concrete pipes, in preparation for putting an alternative crossing into service as soon as possible, in line with engineering standards and public safety requirements.
This step falls within a series of emergency measures implemented by the Authority, in cooperation with military and civilian bodies, to address damage resulting from the attacks, and to ensure continuity of mobility while meeting humanitarian and economic needs in the area.
