Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that Israel is waiting for U.S. approval regarding possible actions involving Iran.

He added that Israel has set objectives in case conflict with Iran resumes, and stated that any future escalation would be different and involve more intense strikes on critical targets, saying such actions would be aimed at significantly weakening Iran.

He also claimed that, if war resumes, Israel would target senior Iranian figures as a first step, and said that Iranian leaders are operating under difficult conditions, including limited communication and decision-making challenges.
