The Israeli army said it carried out airstrikes targeting “weapons depots, loaded and ready-to-launch rocket platforms, and additional infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah in several areas in southern Lebanon.”

It added: “Hezbollah members were operating from within the targeted infrastructure in order to advance plans against our forces operating in southern Lebanon and against the State of Israel. Launch platforms directed toward the area where our forces are operating and toward Israeli territory were also destroyed.”
