The Israeli Broadcasting Authority has reported, according to an Israeli security source, that “Israel will not be able to stop drone and missile attacks even if it fully occupies southern Lebanon.”
It added: “Deploying a security network in southern Lebanon to reduce the risk of drone launches is not sufficient. A political breakthrough is required, while maintaining deterrence, in order to change the reality in southern Lebanon.”
