The Lebanese Army – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 25/5/2026, an incident occurred in the town of Maghdoucheh following a personal dispute, during which gunfire broke out, resulting in the injury of one person.

An army patrol immediately arrived at the scene, contained the situation, and arrested a number of those involved, seizing a pistol and a quantity of ammunition.

Investigations with the detainees have begun under the supervision of the relevant judiciary, and efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved.
