The town of Jdeidet Marjayoun was gripped by panic overnight after several rockets fired toward Israeli forces advancing into the town of Dibbin landed inside residential neighborhoods and civilian sites, causing significant property damage.

According to reports, one of the rockets struck the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, causing severe damage to parts of the building, while another landed inside the campus of the Sacred Hearts Secondary School, leaving extensive destruction and damage to the facility and its surroundings.

Residents expressed anger and fear over exposing the town and its religious and educational institutions to danger, calling for rockets and military activities, from any side, to be kept away from residential areas in order to preserve what remains of people’s safety and property.
