In the first official comment from the White House, delivered through MTV, the administration of President Donald Trump held the Spanish government responsible for the migration crisis in the city of Ceuta, saying that far-left policies and the encouragement of mass migration were behind the influx of thousands of migrants from Morocco into Spanish territory.

White House spokesperson Anna Kelly said Trump had warned Europe for years about the consequences of these policies, urging Spain to immediately change its approach and warning that Spain and other European countries could face the “risk of their disappearance” if they continued on this path.
