Caretaker Telecom Minister, Nicolas Sehnaoui, launched the free Internet service in the public garden of Zahle, upon the invitation of the city's municipality, in presence of a panel of dignitaries.
"It is an overwhelming joy to be in the much cherished Zahle within the framework of moving Lebanon to a new-fangled digital era, to open new horizons for the Lebanese youth," Sehnaoui said.
"This is our method in the Free Patriotic Movement to give the Lebanese citizens, nationwide, services which they are fully entitled to enjoy," he concluded.
