The National News Agency reported that tension had been aroused in Tripoli after a young man of Al Hassoun family was shot dead at a coffee shop in Abi Samra region. In the aftermath of the accident, young men had started firing gunshots into the air before the Lebanese Army troops cordoned off the area.

The NNA also reported that a number of youths blocked the road of Al Manar university and Al Shelfa-Mejdlaya road with burning tires this morning as schools have also closed their doors.
