Chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the Russian Federation Council, Mikhail Margelov, said that "inner extremist goups plotted the Boston attack upon the order of parties that are linked to international terrorism networks".

Mergalov told Novosti new agency that the explosions that ripped through Boston does not equal the magnitude of September 11 attacks, but they reveal the failure to defeat terrorism worldwide.
