Change and Reform parliamentary bloc MP Naamatallah Abi Nasr hoped that all political rivals would realize that the Orthodox Gathering proposal guarantees fair representation to all Lebanese factions, noting that the hybrid proposal failed to garner wide support.

Abi Nasr also confirmed efforts are exerted to hold an expanded Christian meeting in Bkirki.

Regarding the recent  meeting between Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea and FPM figurehead Gebran Bassil in Maarab, Abi Nasr said "that climate indicates consensus on the Orthodox proposal."

Regarding Hezbollah Secretary General Hasan Nasrallah's speech on Thursday, the lawmaker stressed the need to commit to the dissociation policy as our internal problems are enough.

"Neutrality vis-a-vis Arab conflicts is a wise policy", he concluded.
