“Israel today” daily, in a large investigation about the transitions in Hizbullah's military structure at the end of July war, published that, "there's a coming war between Israel and Hizbullah, and it will definitely occur."
When the war takes place, Israel will face "the organization which is considered the main threat of Israel"; because "this organization, we have known in mid 2000's has completely changed." Nowadays Hizbullah is an organization more independent, more armed and more audacious.
In the reports, Israeli daily explained how Hizbullah has readied for the coming war and how "the seven years of calm contributed in obtaining arms, developing and recruiting forces, and preparing surprises for Israel."
According to the newspaper, the main topic which Hizbullah focused on, is that when the party was silently supplied by an arsenal with 60.000 rockets that represents a real and direct threat to the Israeli internal front.
According to Israeli estimations, most of this arsenal is supplied with short-range missile making dozens of kilometers while 5000 rockets are intermediate-range making 250 kilometers; these rockets can reach Tel Aviv and its surroundings. In addition to 300 rockets long-range missiles which can cover all the Israeli territories.
Israeli today quoted sources in Israeli security institution as saying, "If Hizbullah in 2006 was capable to fire hundreds of missiles on Tel Aviv and its suburbs, today it is capable to fire missiles ten times more and to target the heart of the country."
The party also possess, as the daily quotes foreign sources, “a limited number of Scud D missiles which are relatively accurate."
The newspaper quoted a high-profile military source as saying, "It is not a big deal if Hizbullah possesses ten thousands of inaccurate missiles, but if it possesses hundreds or even dozens of accurate missiles, and then this is seriously bad."
According to the newspaper, Hizbullah is attempting to obtain developed computerized weapons from Syria and Iran, like anti-aircrafts and ground-to-sea missiles and maybe chemical weapons.
In Israel, according to reports, "the talks are being focused on wisdom, in the coming war, and not only the accomplishments, Hizbullah is also aware that the war, in the digital era, has a different aspect and it is not a gang warfare."
While waiting for the next war, and despite the increasing Hizbullah's eagerness to provoke Israel, the Israeli expectations consider that "Hizbullah is implementing operations that do not require a respond, such as operations against Israeli and Jewish targets outside Israel."
