Al Joumhouria daily reported that a U.S congress delegation is set to arrive in Beirut in the next few days to hold talks with Lebanese officials.

According to the newspaper, the delegation is expected to discuss local and regional developments, the ripple effects of the conflit in Syria and the stalemate afflicting the parliamentary polls and the cabinet formation process.
