ذكرت صحيفة "الاخبار" ان معلومات وصلت للأجهزة الأمنية اللبنانية عن أن إحدى العمليات الفاشلة لاغتيال مسؤول أمني سوري رفيع المستوى عبر تفجير سيارة مفخخة داخل العاصمة السورية دمشق، كان قد جرى الإعداد لها وتجهيز السيارة بالمتفجرات في لبنان.
