استخدمت الشرطة في البيرو خراطيم المياه والغاز المسيل للدموع لتفريق آلاف الطلاب الذين كانوا يتظاهرون في محيط البرلمان في ليما. وأشار احد قادة الطلاب لصحافيين الى ان عددا كبيرا من الاشخاص اوقفوا بعد ساعات من التظاهرات والمواجهات العنيفة مع الشرطة.
