While the state is busy with securing the Suburb and while conflicts are on between minister of works and minister of finance, citizens as well as their cars were submerged and besieged by first rainfall water on roads, not to mention the suffocating traffic jam. A harsh and heavy winter seems to be promised recalling last year three and four hours spent on roads amid floods on highways.
What will be the measures? What are the steps that will be taken to avoid what happened yesterday night since we’re still in the beginning?
For sure, nobody knows since Minister Ghazi al-Aridi promised us “submerged streets” because Minister of Finance designated no minimum credits to the competent minister.
The ongoing conflict did not open any canal and Lebanese people didn’t care about it. Hence, Ministers, we are ahead of the winter season full of rains and floods. May you please put your conflicts aside and start by implementing what is requested by opening the watercourses and cleaning the necessary.
