The European Union announced it intends to supply UN inspectors in Syria with armored vehicles.

 
The EU's spokesperson explained that the vehicles will arrive in Beirut, Lebanon next week and will be transferred from there to Syria to aid inspectors move safely between chemical weapons stockpiles.
