Moussawi says attempts to exclude Hezbollah are 'constitutional violations'

Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc member, MP Nawwaf Moussawi, deemed the attempts aiming to exclude the resistance from the cabinet as a "constitutional violation", citing the article 95 of the constitution which stipulates that the country's government should include and represent all local components.

"The resistance represents more than half of the Lebanese people," he said Sunday.

The lawmaker rebuffed technocratic, neutral and independent governments as he stressed that the constitution mentions that the cabinet must include all local sects.

Moussawi accused regional powers of hindering the cabinet formation by inciting local factions to marginalize and exclude Hezbollah.
