Hezbollah deemed the world powers' nuclear deal with Iran was an exemplary victory and an outstanding global achievement added to the Islamic Republic's record "that is riddled with triumphs and accomplishments".

"This is a victory that constitutes a model for the rest of the countries, governments, and people seeking independence and dignity", away from foreign dictates, menaces, and temptations," the party said in a statement released on Monday.

"This achievement offers an opportunity to forge scientific progress and technological development that would guarantee self-sufficiency for the Iranian state on many levels," it added.

"What happened is a huge victory for Iran and the entire region, and it is a defeat of the people's enemies and the forces seeking evil for the region," it said.
