On 21:15, a gunman threw a hand grenade towards the LAF Majdelyoun checkpoint dying in the process and instantly wounding 2 officers.

On 22:00 three gunmen on board an Envoy 4x4 arrived to the Majdelyoun checkpoint where one of the assailant wearing an explosive jacket, killed himself as well as one soldier while wounding another. Accomplices of the suicide bomber opened fire but were killed by the LAF.

A military expert was summoned to inspect the vehicle while probes are underway.
