MP Walid Jumblat’s visit to Ein el-Tineh heralded a meeting between Speaker Berri and PM Fouad Siniora. Both parties described the meeting as optimistic and focused on resolving critical issues as well as enhancing the cabinet formation formula.

Berri and Siniora also considered the Ministerial Statement draft and the rotation of ministries, a process which will extend its reach to general managers.
