The Body of Mohammad al-Khawli, a five year old child, was found stabbed and disposed of in a dumpster in Akkar's Halba.

Units of the Lebanese Army and Internal Security Forces arrived to the scene and launched a probe into the matter.

According to the coroner’s report, the child had suffered from sexual assault and five stab wounds were noticed on the right side of his waist.

The ISF released a statement noting that with the help of the culprit’s father, N.A. was arrested Sunday in his parents’ home in Halba and the murder weapon, a knife, was also confiscated.
