Al—Mustaqbal sources stated that Free Patriotic Movement leader Michel Aoun’s chance of being elected president are now null, adding that everyone is currently aware that Saudi Arabia, even though lacks support for a particular candidate, has the right to Veto which Aoun is quite familiar with.

In remarks published in al-Akhbar newspaper Thursday, the source assures that no one wants to hold parliamentary elections, which is in the first place impossible to hold, noting that it would lead to a new cabinet which cannot be formed in the absence of a president.
