Plumbly to Annahar: Rockets fired from south dangerous violation of 1701

UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly voiced concern over the growth of ISIS, noting that the most important and pressing need is to elect a president as soon as possible.

In remarks published in Annahar published Wednesday, Plumbly described rockets fired from the South as a clear and dangerous violation of resolution 1701, calling on local and Israeli factions to exercise self-restraint.

Plumbly stated that the recent events are a source of concern especially that rockets are being fired for the fourth day, noting that the situation must be taken seriously despite the fact that no victims have fallen.
