Kataeb Party MP Samy Gemayel lauded Tuesday the sacrifices made by Lebanese Army defending Lebanon and its sovereignty as well as the safety of its citizens while confronting terrorist groups and Takfiri organizations in northern Bekaa and across the country.

The lawmaker called on engulfing the army and endlessly supporting it in this stage in addition to granting it the political and moral cover and to speed up the arming process and boosting its personnel.

Gemayel also mentioned the suggestion of expanding the UN resolution number 1701 to control the eastern borders and neutralize Lebanon from regional conflicts.

Also Gemayel urged all Kaateb divisions across Lebanon to place all their capabilities at the disposal of the Lebanese army, security forces and municipalities, to serve the public interest and national security.
