The streets of Lebanon morph during the weekend into talent-flaunting arenas, from one-wheel motorcycling to sitting on car roofs, outrageous scenes verge on being normalized.

Lebanon is on a weekly tryst with either death or injuries as a result of weekend-related incidents. For instance, an Internal Security Forces survey counted one person killed and 10 others wounded in traffic accidents across Lebanon on Sunday, along with 472 speeding violations on the same day.

This goes without counting the numerous hazardous practices that the Lebanese commit amid the flagrant absence of stricter laws and the blatant idleness of relevant authorities.
