In a country that is constantly battered by manifold types of political, economic and social problems, anything that pierces through the Lebanese people’s daily dullness would be enough to cause nationwide controversy.

Mia Khalifa is a Lebanese-American girl who was recently picked as the most popular porn star featuring on Pornhub website.

The 21-year-old Florida resident boasted her “success”, taking pride in her career choice as well as Lebanese descent.  

Khalifa stirred controversy as she posted a photo showing phrases taken from the Lebanese national anthem tattooed on her body.  

“Doesn't the Middle East have more important things to worry about besides me? How about finding a president? Or containing ISIS?” Khalifa responded to the volley of comments that crammed her Twitter page.
