Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Abdul-Latif al-Zein, slammed the recent remarks made by Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah regarding Bahrain, accusing the latter of inciting violence in a bid to foment sectarian sedition in the kingdom.
Al-Zein added that Nasrallah not only meddled in Bahrain’s internal affairs, but also sought, to no avail, to destabilize the country and jeopardize its security.
“That will not happen thanks to the Bahraini people’s awareness,” he affirmed. “Nasrallah, as well as other ill-wishers, do not have the right to interfere in Bahrain’s affairs”.
