Hamas politbureau vice president Ismael Hanieh echoed Hamas’ anticipation of Benjamin Netanyahu’s win in the Isreali elections, accusing the Israel of longstanding agression  and subsequent occupation of the Palestinians.

“Do not bid on the occupier lest you bid on a mirage; the internal and external variables indicate plausible revelations,” Hanieh remarked, appealing to the Palestinian leaderships to develop a coherent strategy so as to safeguard the commom interests of the resistance and liberation respectively.
