Injured Hussein Awada denounced the crime that claimed the life of his brother Mohamad Awada on the eve of el-Fitr.

Hussein’s remarks came during a press conference he held at the house of Yousof Khattar Awada in Baalbek in the presence of al-Awada figureheads.

“The murder is a premeditated crime, and I ask the security forces to track down the now identified perpetrators and their accomplices. We ask the Lebanese Judiciary to lay down the strictest punishment in whoever is found guilty of my brother’s death,” he said.

Awada thanked the Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi, the judiciary and security forces for their concern and follow-up on the case.
