Newly-appointed France ambassador lists France's priorities in Lebanon

Newly-appointed France ambassador to Lebanon Emmanuel Bonne paid Speaker of the House Nabih Berri a protocol visit at Ain al-Tineh, where he tackled the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.

"I would like to thank the Lebanese government for appointing me as an envoy in Lebanon," he said following the meeting.

"France has three priorities in Lebanon; first to support the state institutions and to urge electing a president as soon as possible, second to support Lebanon's security and offering aid to resolve the crisis of Syrian refugees in Lebanon," Bonne concluded.
